ScrapPop.com is a Scrapbooking Search engine.  We currently have searches which cover:

• General Scrapbooking Information
• Scrapbooking Supplies

We cannot add every site that is submitted to ScrapPop.com.  Without stringent standards we feel that the integrity of the results obtained would be lost.  Before submitting your site for possible inclusion on ScrapPop we suggest that you review what we look for in a site below.  Please be aware that we do not index photo galleries and message boards because the dynamically generated pages can sometimes become an infinite loops of links that returns very little useful information.

• Does each page of your site have it's own title?  We do not add sites that have every page of the site containing the same title.  This is found on a lot of the "cookie cutter" store products available and makes it very difficult for anyone to decipher the search results.
• Does your site have useful content?  We do not add sites that are mainly a gateway to a message board and photo gallery.  In general it is recommended that your site contain static useful information.
• Is your site strictly used as an income generator?  Are you the type of person that worries more about flooding visitors with pop-up and banner ads rather than providing useful information?  If so, please wait until the scope of your site changes prior to submitting the site to ScrapPop.com
• Do you link to ScrapPop.com?  It is not required, but it is always nice to see sites share ScrapPop.com with their visitors.

If we decide that your site will be added, we will choose a time in the early morning hours to index your site.  We use a relatively slow crawl to index your site.  If you use robots.txt to limit search engine access to your pages and use something other than "allowing all search engines access", please add our crawler, the SCRAPPOPPER to your robots.txt file.  We are very courteous and respect robots.txt files.
